Put Your Ideas Into Action Today
Are you a creative person? Do
you have a brain that is brimming with ideas? Ideas that are just
waiting to be brought into open with proper actions? Do you like
experimenting, inventing, risking and having fun along the way? If
you are, then this topic is for you.
Many people get good ideas.
Some may come up with a unique idea for writing a book. Some may get
good ideas on marketing techniques. Some may have a superb idea for
providing shelters for animals and homeless. Many of us have lots of
ideas but how many of us take any effort to put our ideas into
action?
Being one of the smart,
creative and talented individuals, you may not put your ideas into
action due to certain reasons. These include the following:
o You do not know the course
of action to take to implement your ideas
o You do not know which ideas
to tackle first
o You wonder if you have
enough time to act on your ideas
But how would you like to turn
your ideas into action?
Dare to risk your time and
money to convert your ideas into action. Here are some valuable tips
for you:
Make a wish list. You may call
it as an ‘idea list’: To start with, you should create a list of
ideas. You could create separate lists – one for your personal life,
one for your professional life, one for your hobbies, etc.
Identify any blockages or
obstructions: Analyze your list and find out those reasons that
stand in the way of your materializing your ideas – Don’t you have
people who encourage you in implementing your ideas? Do you lack
money, time, materials, etc. to build your ideas into action? Study
these blocks and see how you could remove them.
Prioritize your ideas from the
list: Check your list and see which idea could be put into action
first. Choose those ideas that would fetch you positive results so
that you would be encouraged to try the next ones with confidence.
Set specific goals: Once you
identify and prioritize on your ideas, set specific goals to
implement them at a particular time. You may plan to bring out some
idea(s) into practice in the next six months, for New Year, etc. You
may choose the time and occasion to release your ideas.
Draw a plan: Once you identify
and prioritize and set your goal for a particular idea, draw a plan
to achieve it. Divide your plan into smaller portions so that you
could manage them and complete your tasks on time. Completing your
tasks on time would be your motivating force to complete the whole
task and bring out ideas into a full-fledged action.
Put an endless effort towards
your goal: The more effort you contribute to your idea, the sooner
you would accomplish it. On the other hand, if you slow down on and
off, you would be working at your idea forever and eventually you
may even stop working at it. If you do not put in enough effort your
idea would just remain another idea on the paper.
Hold yourself responsible:
Responsibility would help you reach your goal. Share your plans with
close friends or relatives who would encourage you, set a time
frame, carry your plans forward with great efforts and be
responsible in taking each step forward towards materializing your
ideas.
Repeat these steps for each
idea and see them turning into actions!
